What give you better growth 14k or 20k bulbs?

The lower the kelvin the better the growth,but the higher the kelvin the better the color.so out of the two the 14k would have better growth rates

I would say yes that if they are the same brand bulb you are going to get better growth out of the 14k. However, There will be a difference among manufacturers.

I agree with the others as a general rule of Thumb.
PAR readings are really what you should be concerned with, over Kelvin.
A higher Kelvin bulb can have higher PAR then a lower Kelvin bulb, depending on manufacturers.
