bulbs question

I have a mixed reef tank. Anemones, Softies, Clam, 2 Hard corals,etc.
I have 2 x 250W phoenix 14k MH DE bulbs and 2 x 54W Blue T5s
I noticed 2-3 corals of mines when I got it from the LFS, and put it in my tank, lost some color after several weeks.
Is my combination of bulbs correct? Do I need more blues or whites?
I was thinking of going with this:
2 x 250W 20K MH DE bulbs and 2 x 54W White T5s
Is that configuration better?

I dont think the bulbs is your problem.
but as far as your change goes i think the idea you have will be more pleasing to the eye then your current set up

try to put the corals on the sand... the problem is that there is too much light hitting it also one 250w mh is all that is needed for it...i have a 92g with 250w mh and 2x 32w blue bulbs the corals are doing very well ..... another also lol if one mh get hot what about two??

It would be more pleasing to the eye ZIMo also, but wouldn't that mess up the day into night schedule?? Or will the 20K halides be blue enough to simulate evening??

The halide bulbs are about 4mnths old. the T5s are maybe 7-8mnths old. But my halides have enought blue in it so I didnt change the T5s.
I dont know what kinda corals they are. I will take some pics. I do know that one of them I have the LFS said is worth $150

I did acclimate them.
I attached 3 pics. I have NO IDEA what these corals names are. Does anyone know? Also, if you can tell me why the middle one is discoloring (the $150 one)... The other two are fine. The bottom one is like small little hard purple branches. :notsure:
