lol, this is how i got my parents to enjoy my saltwater, i went and got a cool little critter, (my coral banded shrimp), and i named it after my dad... which is my name to, so go buy somethin cool, and name it after him,
and my mom enjoys excesizing, and my dad enjoys musical instruments, so they keep track of how much they each spend, and if my dad goes and buys 4 new cd's for 80 bucks, my mom goes and buys excersize dvds for 80 bucks.

Rykna. I'm in the same boat as you. my hubby dosent pay much attention to my tanks. he will look at it and say thats nice or thats cute, but he has never really gotten into it. the kids like the fish, but they dont pay much attention either. oh well. its my hobby and i love it. I'm a stay at home mom, so my money comes from hubby, except the money i get for watching two boys during the week. I hord that, and buy most of my stuff with it. I dont tell him how much things really cost.
