Bummed

My mandi decided to go carpet surfing and that makes me sad. I had successfully converted it to eat frozen. I think my royal dottyback and my new starry blenny got into a disagreement and spooked the mandarin.

R.I.P.

That makes three of us...I had no idea they would jump. I thought they just hung out on the very bottom of the tank...such a bummer....sorry.

My mandi was always in the bottom half of the tank. It carpet surfed within 24 hours of me adding my starry blenny. It must have been spooked. I think Justin said his mandi jumped as well.

I only had on mandarin...years ago. My Goldenheaded Sleeper goby killed it, ripped a big hole in his back. I didn't know they would not get along.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have seen my female get a little antsy before, but never spooked so much that she would jump. I guess we should be aware that ANY fish could do it if the conditions are right.
