Burrowing Clownfish?!

Hi Everyone!

I have had my clownfish for 2 years now, and all of a sudden about a month ago, he started digging HUGE holes in the sandbed. Both of my clownfish hang out and sleep in the holes together. Is it a mating behavior maybe? I thought it could be that they were trying to rub off parasites, but there are no visible signs, and the rest of my fish seem fine. Hmmm, any ideas?

Mine are always moving the sand around behind their rock. I don't think it has anything to do with spawning, but it's nothing to be worried about.
