i had the same question once, the replies were-- "The butterflies will love your reef tank, your corals will hate it." and "No.". I can't remember the rest, but there was a pattern forming which told me not to risk it.

Actually, there are a few that can be kept in a reef setting. The pyramid butterfly family are planktivores.
Some others can be kept with things like mushrooms and more noxious corals.
Klieniis are almost all 100% reef safe but every now and again you find one that eats your leather corals but they're completely safe with hard corals.

Defenetely not all. I don't know the whole list, but I'm sure that H. acuminatus is not reef safe.
I think H. diphreutes would be your best bet in a reef.
