Butterfly in a reef?

I was thinking about getting either the CopperBanded or the Long Nose for my tank. I just wanted to make sure that they won't pick at any coral. I have an RTBA, Pearl Bubble, Green Shrooms, Green Hairy Shrooms, Orange Ricordea, and 3 different types of Zoo's. I love the way they look but wasn't sure if they were reef safe.

sometimes you can get lucky and butterfly fish wont mess with coral but overall they are not reef safe. They will probably eat your shrooms or at least tear them off the rocks to try.

I had my CBBF for 4 years and never bothered any thing but feather dusters. Many dif. corals, anemones, clam were all safe w/ mine.

I was given a Racoon before I started adding corals and he picked at every thing I added. Needless to say he was traded. I also had the same problem with an Ebeli (sp?) Angel.
