My button polyp is changing from a brown into a green color, notice the base on it, it is getting huge. Any ideas?

Corals do have the ability to change their color depending on their lighting and location. It all depends on the symbiotic algae they grow. A classic example is acropora which is brilliant under MH's and lack luster under lesser lighting..... Its possible your's like their lighting and are taking on a brighter more colorful zooxanthellae. Which is a good thing. Watch them so they don't shade the yellow button polyps. I've seen some huge zoanthids before. EDIT: looking again it looks like they are green button polyps which don't get THAT big....

By chance did you get them from this site? They look exactly like the set of mix polyps/zoos that I got from here.

I have the same corals, got em as a hitchhiker on LR. Mine do this periodically as well, but I cant explain whats going on. As far as the base spreading/enlarging, I am pretty sure this is how this coral spreads.
