I just got some Button polyps and am thinking of getting some more coral. I have had a Chocolate Chip starfish for a while. Well the Starfish eat or bother the Coral?

yup i had to get rid of my chocolate star i put a piece of rock with green buttons on it and he ate half of them in one night!!!
so i took him back to the LFS
kinda saddening cuz i had him for over a year.....
but since then like 3 months ago the GBP's have been multiplying at a good rate and are back to around the same amount as before
say good buy to ur chocolate star

sorry about your 3 year old buddy, but corals are much cooler than a chocolate(no offense) you won't regret saying goodbye

Do a LOT of research before buying a Linckia, your tank may not be suitable for them! They can not be spot fed and have very specific requirements. Please do not buy one without a lot of research on them, or you may at the very least waste money.
