I know this sounds bad but I need to know how to kill button polyps. They are over growing in my tank and killing other corals. Any ideas? Please help!

Are they on their own rocks?? If they are you could take that rock and trade it in for new stuff or try and sell it to someone. I just hate to see one kill zoas if you don't need to.

Easy 3 step process:
!. Cut mat between polyps with new razor blade.
2. Put cut polyps in a box.
3. SHIP THEM TO ME!!!

I have posted them on craigslist and taken them to all the live fish stores around here. The problem is that they are not pretty. They are brown with just a hint of pink in the center. If anyone is close to me and would like to come get them I would give them away. Feel free to contact me because I hate to have to kill them also. 386-585-0719 I live between st augustine and daytona beach on the coast

If no one local contacts you about them, I would gladly cover the shipping for them. PM me if you don't get any hits about them.

Try a posting in a local reef club. Post that you have free polyps and someone will likely take you up on your offer. They are hardy and make a nice beginner coral.
