Are there any good sites online to buy a tank or is it not worth it? Looking for a 90g drilled and am not happy w/ the prices i'm seeing. Looking like $350...

If you are in no hurry, you can check out ---- for a used set-up nearby. I saved about 1500-2000 on the 110 setup I purchased. I paid 500 bucks..oak canopy & stand, vho lighting-440 watts, filtration, etc. I drove 6 hours roundtrip to pick it up. You can also find a good deal in the local newspaper.

I just picked up my tank from a very popular auction site, and got a 55g with stand, hood, penguin filter for 125g, whisper filter for 80g, three heaters, not submersible, a small powerhead, not sure of brand, haven't taken a good look yet, an additional 55g, tank only, 10g complete set-up, various decorations, one FW live plant, a green terror, that needs a home!! A pleco, up for adoption, and two fiddler crabs, for $200.00....Also got all the gravel from the tank the fish were in, being the 55g with stand.
I have been looking for almost 6 months, but believe this was well worth the wait!
I am planning on moving, and am debating wether to set this thing up, or look at it empty for a while...You will find something, just have patience... i know it's hard. I'm already thinking this tank is not going to be BIG enough, and I went from a 10g, to a 55!!! Good LUCK!!

I also just bought a complete used 125 set up on a "popular auction sight". I had a 55 gallon I was upgrading and in the end got such a good deal on a complete setup I now have 2 tanks!!! The key is patience. I searched for a month before the one I wanted turned up and was close enough to make it worth while to go and pick up.

I also bought a complete set up from that famous auction site. Though I had to drive 6 hours round trip, I saved some BIG bucks. The auction included the following items: a 55 glass tank, a custom oak stand & matching canopy, a Magnum Pro 350 canister filter, a Prism protein skimmer...yeah, yeah, I know everyone under the sun rips them to shreads, but this thing works great (after a little tweaking). I also got 260 watts of lighting (I had to replace the bulbs right away). The auction also included three maxi-jet powerheads, a Marine Lab master test kit (half used), a hydrometer, an air pump, a 300 watt ebo-jagger heater, and some other odds and ends... ALL FOR ONLY $375.00! Granted, I had to drive about 350 miles, and used almost a full tank of gas...($80) and had to replace the bulbs the next day (another $90), I still saved over $1,000. . The guy showed me all of the recipts and he paid over $600 just for the stand & canopy alone. Not only did I get a steal, everything was less than 6 months old. So shop around. I added up all of the recipts and this was over a $1,600.00 setup
