yes. or worse.
I just about went cookoo when we were buying our house. hands down the most stressfull thing I have ever done in my life. (keep in mind I spent several years on the streets eating out of dumpsters wondering if I was going to wake up tommorrow)

oh boy. currently we are in the midst of ATTEMPTING to coordinate inspectors. we've only got 15days to do it, and the house we want is out of state.
this means we have to make sure the day
1. meets the deadline
2. is good for my Husband's boss so he can take off work
3. is good for our broker
4. is good for THEIR listing agent
5. is good for the inspection agency
6. is good for THEIR septic company so it can be pumped in the presence of our inspector.
holy. cr@p.
and that's just the inspection!!!

good luck there mimzy!! we bought our house, but since it was through a builder it wasn't nearly as much of a hassle..hear and there during the build but wasn't too bad for us.

My house buying was actually pretty easy, which was nice as I knew nothing about buying a house and had to find a place to live in a month. The most stressful part was finding the house I liked and the move.

yes and it never gets better. We have done it 3 times. I dread it. Won't be doiing it again for a long long long long long time

good luck. It will be worth it.

my house buying would have been easy if my wife didnt have to look at a hundred homes to make a decision

we looked at hundreds upon hundreds of listings, but we only TRAVELED to see 4 in person. we are moving from Northern Jersey to Eastern PA, so we had to be really choosy as far as visiting went - it's hundreds of miles, and gas is EXPENSIVE

Ours was pretty easy. Our Realtor earned his money. He took care of everything and just told us when to show up. Couldn't have been easier. He sold our old house, found our new house, found the house for the people we bought from and we all did a triple closing on the same day and just moved a few days after that. One of the biggest things that made it easy though is that we only moved about 12 miles away.
