buying a mated pair from my lfs

They have told me the can order in for me a mated pair of yellow banded maroon clowns. My question is will they truely be a mated or will I still have a problem

most people misuse 'bonded' as 'mated.' i think that is the case with your lfs.

well then should I expect is to be already bonded

they will be shipped in separated bags.
when first introduced in the tank. they will usually fight initially and then 'remember' each other.
unless the vendor lies.
