Buying lights

I believe I have made my decision. I've decided to go with 440 watts of VHO for now and upgrade by adding MH as my tank matures. I'm going with the IceCap 660 retro kit from Premium Aquatics. They seemed to have the cheapest price at $349.17, including shipping. Champion Lighting was about the same, but their price didn't include stand offs (would have been an extra $25). The kit from PA is said to have mounts that mount to the end caps. Let me know if anyone objects to this transaction or has seen a better price elsewhere. Thanks all. I love this board.

that's actually great deal; we saw no reason to pay for the brand name though; we went w/ their LN VHO reto 440 kit for $139; been using it for past 6 months or so w/o any problems & they have a great price on bulbs too :)

Good choice on the IC 660
You'll never go wrong ordering from PA.
That is so much money though it makes me want to cry, I bought a used 660 that was broken on e-bay for 40 bucks sent it in and had it repaired for 40 bought the vho bulbs from hello lights for 80 bucks and that was that.
That ballast came wired and everything...no stand off though but who can complain for 160..plus some shipping.
