Buying used acrylic tank

Hello All,
It's been a while since I've posted. Anyhow I have a few question regarding acrylic tanks. First one is how difficult is it to drill hole for overflows on an acrylic tank and the second is can you buffer out small scratches on an acrlic tank? The reason why I'm asking is because I'm looking into purchasing a used tank. All I've had previously are glass so this is all new to me. Thanks, Sam.

acrylic is pretty easy to drill if you use a holesaw and drill slowly to avoid cracking. i did mine.
there is a polish called Novous that works good for scratches as long as they aren't too deep. it should work fairly well, especially if the tank is drained and you can get at the scratches easily.
