May have spelled wrong sorry!!!
I was just wondering is there anything special you need to do for caelurpa in a fuge becides give it light? I read other post and no one actually goes into detail on what they need to survive they just talk about putting it in there fuge and leave it at that.

I also wanted to ask this ? but i forgot in original post... can caelurpa surive a cycle or traces of ammonia?

It can not only survive a cycle, but with the right lighting and trace elements it can explode in growth.

I add iron to help my caulpera grow... Also I leave the lights on 21 hours a day. I've heard mixed feeling on this but this gives my refugium a night and day cycle and so far so good (it's been running for 7 months...)

iron and spectra are good elements to add to help grow?
so my ammonia in my tank is 1.0 mg/l on its way down from cycling... i believe it peaked at 2 - 3 mg/l ... so it would be fine then to add the caelurpa right now?
