Calcium 800?!?!?!

Yes thats right.. My Calcium is at 800... I was wondering about my water being a little milky and particles floating.. Some of u kind people told me that it could be my calcium being a little high.. So I had my water tested and it was at 800.. :D Well I didnt have any corals or anything yet so I figured I would buy 1 or 2... I did! 1 Show size Pink Finger Leather and 1 Show size Moon Brain Coral.. (1 Softy and 1 Hard) My cousin and I also got about 30 lbs of Cured Catalina Rock for 30 bucks My LFS had to get rid of it since he was getting a new shipment and had no room.. LOL
I hope to get hold of a digital camera so I can post some pics..
Sorry for the long post, just so excited because I am finally able to start stocking my tank.. Now I just have to wait for awhile before I get something else.. :(
Is my LFS correct when he says the calcium lvl should go down should I try to bring it down manually??? And what products do u suggest if so..
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Just excited!

800 is high, and the best way to lower it is to do water changes, and it will also fall some on its own, don't bother with ch3emical additives, just do water changes

yeah, i don't manually add calcium supplements to my tank. only an alk buffer and a few drops of essential elements (which i'm slowly trying to wean myself off of). i have pretty good coralline growth. all my coral do fine. i don't think it's really necessary for calcium additives unless you have a tank full of corals. there's enough in the salt mix. as long as everything else is in range it'll be ok. jmo
hey fshhub, happy b-day. why is everyone always 102 on their birthday?? anyone else noticed this? :D
