I use CaribSea ARM media and really like it. ARMs media dissolves easy and is relatively clean.

I've used most of the stuff out there..I like CaribSea Geo Marine. 20.00 for a 40 pound bag works for me.

See cause i live is Australia, alot of the products u use are not available to me unless i wanna import (i dont wanna import). but are i guess if u could give me a list of all the better products then that would be a good help. Also i was speaking to my mate at work (i work at my LFS) and i suggested crushing coral skeleton and using that (aslong as u could crush it in to around 5-6mm pieces). we both thought it was a good idea but we are not sure weather it would disolve readily? has anyone tired this approach....if not do u think its worth a try??
thanks guys :happyfish

Where are you going to get that much dead coral from?? From my understanding that's all the reactor media is, crushed coral!!
