Calcium reactor vs Kalkwasser reactor

What is the differnce between these two items and which would you'll prefer.

Cal reactors are more upfront cost vs Neilson reactors but in the long run are more stable and more forgiving incase something goes wrong..
Cal's can be quite a PITA so dial in just right but once it is you will notice alot better reaction of of the corals

Kalk reactor isn't going to keep up with a high density sps coral tank, at least not anything larger than a nano. Kalk reactor (or stirrer which is more accurate) is no different than adding Kalk to your top off water except it does it for you. This would probably work to a point (low stocked sps or lps tank) and then it wont be enough. you'll be dosing or still needing a calcium reactor anyway. Calcium reactor dissolves aragonite by lowering pH in the reactor with co2. Sized appropriately these will keep up with the calcium and carbonate needs of any system.
