I am having trouble with Calcium in my two reef tanks. My 90 is at 1700 and my 55 at 800 yes thats right way to high. can anyone advise me how to lower it ??

Are you sure that was tested right? It's usually around 400-500. What addatives do you use and what source of water? Also what kind of rocks do you have and substrate? Calcium can come from all these sources.

Make sure the test is net deffective. Go the the LFS and have them use your kit on their water and on your water as well. About the only way I can think of to get the calcium down is to do water exchanges. RO or distilled.

I tested my water i use to top of the tanks. The calcium was 80. I'm not sure how it got so hi but it is staying at same level. What about using MAGNISIAM not sure of the selling.
