Calerpa safe around a hermit crab?

I just got home with a nice piece of live rock with mexican calerpa growing on it. I'm placing it in my refugium. Will the brown/green legged hermit crab I have in there eat it?

They will grub on it if hungry. So keep him well fed and they should be fine. Although, still monitor him.

I say good luck to that hermit crab. I had caulerpa racemosa in my tank with 25 hermit crabs and six months later when I removed the caulerpa, it had grown from the handful I put in to over 25 pounds of the stuff.
