California does it again

California Rep Ellen Tauscher presented a bill to repeal the "Dont Ask Dont Tell". This is all about an agenda.

How much longer do I have to wait before Cali falls into the ocean.

Let the name calling began.

LOL.. I just don't know why people who want us to go away keep talking about us. Guess there's nothing else to do in the other states but keep tabs on us.

You said it well
I currently live in SC(Cali native) and all the girls at my work are so caught up in the tabloids it's insane. They have tons of magazines everywhere, I could care less

Exercise your right to turn the channel, stop seaching for california on the internet, don't read our newspaper online and don't start or get involved in threads about California... THERE! California doesn't exist for you anymore. Why is that concept hard to grasp? You don't look for us and trust me.... we'd have no reason to look for CO.

Stop all the people from Cali from moving here. Your turning our red state blue. How can I stop keeping up with your state when you are affecting the entire U.S.

Let's SECEDE!
6th biggest economy in the world. I'm sure the rest of the country won't mind making up the revenue shortfall just to be rid of us

We'd get to keep what we send to the useless Fed now.
Rent out our military bases at exhorbitant rates and charge add'l import duties for all the crap that comes from China through the ports of OAK and LA.
Pretty much solves the problem.

If I affect you.... your little world must be very inconsequential. I'm not native, so I can speak as someone not living here, but the only time California entered my life was when I went looking for info for vacations. So here you are, starting a thread, to once again bring California into your house.... why? I LIVE here and nothing is in my face that I don't want there.

Cranberry, you have NO clue how much your policies in California affect the rest of the states. Your state was the first to require 1.28 gallon flush toilets, lower gpm aerators on faucets, emmissions controls, cancer warnings on just about everything under the sun, etc etc etc. If you guys would stop passing all this crap, the rest of the states wouldn't follow. now there's a repeal in the works...yes, it's something the rest of the states should worry about because it will filter all the way over to CT within a few months (after they figure out if it works or not).

Didn't I say I'm not a native? I lived here for 3 years only. So I know what's it's like on the other side of the state line. But all those things your complaining about up there... I'll seriously worry about a 1.28 flush toilet when that actually because something to think twice over. I'm not a tree hugger by any means.... heck, I have a T-shirt that say "I *heart* Seals... smothered in gravy. Ya, my Canadian folk are seal hunters :)
But smaller flush bowls
gpm aerators on faucets
emissions control
cancer warning on everything?
OMG! We must be terrorists with those ideas! Abolish us!
None of that even makes sense to you?... a drought area trying to reserve water so we all have it to use when we need it? Emissions controls to try and combat the number of cars that are driving on our oh so popular streets? Cancer warnings?.... for shame. I can't help it if y'all want to follow us like little ducklings. But copying us is the greatest compliment to our ideas. I'm glad there are no other issues going on in the world the we worry about the power of the almighty toilet flush.

They were also the ones that started the concept of HMOs which was the worst medical insurance concept ever.
