Any chance of seeing whole tank shots of your shark tanks? looking for decorating ideas. I just finished cycling a 300g tank w/ a 7ft sump with 15 bags of M mud and 5lbs of different macro's.
I have about 300lbs of LS on the bottom and have about 300lbs of LR just sitting in trash cans with pumps.
3 250w/14k HM
1 G5 skimmer
1/2 horse Artic chiller
4 ft UV
2 3ft 120w VHO's for the sump
This is what I am thinking about for live stocks
1 leapord shark
1 stingray
1 lion fish
6 yellow tangs...for the color

Howdy... Wow, a 300 gallon tank, chiller, skimmer, UV, etc. Impressive. Lot's of possibilities...

Thanks...did a 90g, 180g and a 240g reef.
Very beautiful...just too expensive...wanted to try a FOWLR...just looking for decor ideas besides bare bottom or LS

Well, if haven't already, buy "Sharks & Rays" by Scott W. Michael. You'll notice that most of the species he describes do better with lots of swimming room (little decor like LR). A few pieces in the middle of the tank, or at either side should be plenty.

Just got that book. Read the book during the cycle. I guess I am lucky since I have a friend that works at Sea Word SD and will take in anything when it gets too big forthe 300g.
Couple of LR in the middle sounds good
