I've just started on my 2006 GTO with the LS2, Sofar I've added the K&N Typhoon with elbow and Flowmaster duals, puts me around 430-450hp and seriously thinking about the ASP dual turbo's which will put me in the mid 600hp range. The car is already stupid fast, there's one guy in town who has the dual trubos and I see him everyonce in a while, actually I hear him first, then see him...LOL..........It's been years since I've gotten a ticket, well several weeks ago I got a stupid teenager ticket....Nailed me for "Display of Horsepower" LOL....
Also have a Stage 3 Roush F150, fully blown with all the suspension mods, what's cools is the high pitched "scream" the engine makes, people look over at us with puzzled faces and then were gone

Sounds like when I shift gears and my turbo's blow off valve goes off. I get some weird tilted heads and squinted eyebrows.
Well atleast you didnt get a 'Speed Contest' ticket. I hear they are $1,300.

I did end up getting 2 stupid tickets though also.. and I was pulled over by a bicycle cop.... not a motorcycle.. but the ones with pedals. Lol in the middle of the strip.. in the middle of the road. All because a Taxi cut me off hard at a light and I honked my horn to let him know he cut me off. So I see these two stupid bicycle come running up to my car and turn their little flashers on. *sigh*. So they write me up for some bs ticket & 180.00 lighter in my pocket. I dont even call them police anymore.. more like revenue collectors.

Well, I'll go ahead and post up my ride thats incomplete at the moment, and well on the way to being finished up hopefully by march.
I own a 69 Camaro that was originally a 6cyl powerglide. This was a base model and the only options on the car when it was ordered was bucket seats and the glide.....thats it. Pretty much a plane jane car.
I bought it in May of last year (2007) with an old 307. I immediately replaced it with an LT1 and a 4L60E. After I got tired of that, I found a modified LS1 with around about 450ish horses and a T56 six speed manual trans. That is now whats in the works. I have a few vids and a few pictures below.
Sorry this is not a new car or more modern like the above, but it's my absolute favorite car in the world.
Here is what it looked like before I tore it apart........

Here is what it looks like in my filthy garage as I type.......

This is the custom dash I built for it........it is now painted and installed, but I havent had a chance to take any pics yet.

Also, here is a few sound clips of the engine running. Keep in mind that it is open headders......
LS1 First startup
Here is another with better audio.......
LS1 startup
hope you like it,
Joe

This is our 62 Oldsmobile StarFire that I sold a few months ago, I had it listed on flebay, some guy from New Zealand calls and say "I'll wired money to your account right now if you end the

[hr]
" his offer was 10k over the high bid with only 1 day to go, so I jumped on it. 5 Days later a truck arrived and hauled to the port of Las Angeles and on a boat it went to New Zealand. We had this car for a long, long time and did 95% of the restoration, car was almost perfect.

Let me dig thru some files, if not I'll snap some tonight....Don't see to many Roush F150's stage 3's.....Nice thing is that I wasn't even looking for a new truck or car, I noticed the truck at Pontiac dealer, had 6k miles and they wanted 30K, jumped on it...........Got home and the other half was all in my face about how fast, blah blah blah could beat the crap outa my Infinitie, so the next day I went back and traded in the G35 & bought the GTO,...That put an end to the bragging....

Because Las Vegas is the 2nd worst market for insurance, I had the stage 3 badging removed and replaced with stage 1, with hopes that they won't waste their time if they try anything. But if they are smart, they'll see the huge hood scoop, stage 1 & 2 don't have that. Plus if somebody wants to race, all they see is the stage1 and think they have me.....LOL....I'l post pics of the engine as well...

Hey Kokamo,
Nice project. I don't have anything against the newer cars, but I love the 69 camero also. I've always planned on building one for the track but have not gotten around to it yet.
It strange seeing my engine sitting inside that chasis. I have a 2002 Corvette. What have you done to the engine? I need to put long tube headers on mine. That engine is rock solid and darn near bullet proof.

So funny! I was just about to post and ask if there are any other SRT owners or other toy cars!
Here's mine just picked it up yesterday.
07 SRT8 Charger Option groups I,II and III. With sunroof. Add ons are Billy Boat 3' Stainless exhaust with flow through mufflers. Air raid cold air intake. Right now I'm guess about 450 HP. Probably going to add throttle body spacer and perhaps a tune with the new Predator.
Love the Camaro......

Ported heads by Port-Pros here in Austin TX, Comp224/224 581/581 lift 112 LSA, Pacesetter longtubes, true dual exhaust, custom tune by me, and possibly a 125~150 shot of nitrous on the way.
I'll tell you that longtubes alone add sooo mcuh torque to an engine. Makes a big huge difference.
I havent driven it yet, but I know it's gonna be a killer 1/8 mile car with the mini spool and 4.88's in the rear.
