Calling all DIY stand builders, Photos Please!!!!

Ok so I’m sitting here looking at my new 75gal tank and matching stand. It’s an AGA RR 75Gal with the wooden stand painted black. This stand is so flimsy looking that I wonder will it even hold the weight of the tank ? As I look closer I see that some of the boards / panels that make up the sides of the stand are warped and bowed out!! I can see into the stand and I can see nails sticking out! So I have decided that I am going to build my own stand but I need some help/ideas. So I’m calling all DIY tank stand builders, lets see pics of your stands please! Construction photos would also be great!!

You gotta love the face frame maker,makes life easy.

I was really looking at the Delta. I spent a year doing research and talking to a lot of pros on the subject at trade shows, etc, and found that the Delta and Grizzly in the same class were virtually identical in features, reviews, and performance, but the Grizzly was a whole lot less expensive.
I have a woodworking buddy who has the Delta X5 with the Biesmeyer and he was very impressed by mine, so I am pretty happy with my decision.

Thanks for all your replies! I started my stand today. I realise that ,y design might be overkill, but it was very easy fora novice woodworker like me to put together. Also, the wood was real cheap!. Next weekend I will install the facia boards, doors and trim, then paint. Here is a pic.

I'm about to start building a stand for my 75 as well. I'm a little confused about your design. How are the legs attached to the frame? I don't see any screws.

Hay Drew, the legs are not attached to the frames yet, I ran out of screws but was impatient and didn’t want to wait, so I balanced it all together to see what it would look like

The two studs that make up each corner are screwed together to for the L shape and both the top and bottom frame are complete.
I’m not sure how I will attach the legs to the two frames; I will probably just drill the screws in from the side at an angle. I’m using 3" screws, so they should be long enough. If I feel that that is not strong enough, I might use some type of bracket or framing plate.
Anyone have any suggestions?
