go onnnn... oh yeah another question. how do i keep my eyes from watering when applying liner?
if your eyes are watering a lot when you use liner, u may be allergic to the liner or it might be old and harboring too much bacteria. ....eye makeup needs to be changed every 3months, 6mos at MOST.

Just a couple of tips. Powders are not the friend of us more mature women. They tend to crease in lines and wrinkles and accentuate them.
Have you tried bareMinerals? You'd be surprised how well it works. It's not your normal powder at all. I'm not a spring chick myself, but the few little wrinkles I have completely disappear with that stuff.

Where do you get it?

this isnt really makeup, but its a cool little trick i learned from my mom. if youre like me & have a hard time getting youre hair really clean & soft, (my hair's REALLY processed & i straighten it) you can mix white vinegar in with your conditioner, apply it to dry hair, and let it sit for 10 minutes or more, then wash. it changes youre hair's ph, and makes the little "scales" that make up your hair lay down flatter, thus making your hair cleaner, smoother, softer, shinier, and less frizzy. it also makes color last longer if you dye your hair. i have vinegar on my hair right now, which made me think of it. lol. oh yeah, uh, youre hair does not smell afterward. a lot of people ask that.

Any tips on getting fine, blond, Scandinavian hair appear thicker? I've never had problem with getting my hair clean (cleans too easily).

I order mine online at http://www.bareminerals.com/ (not a competitor site, site selling makeup)
They also have brick and morter stores on some upscale malls and then a store called Sephora sells them.
I'm sure you can get it somewhere else too. Just Google *bareMinerals*.
They currently have a great TV offer to give the product a test

I think I have seen the stores in a mall close to me. I will check it out, Thanks

and thanx for all the advice, about the mineral makeup... will it appear different on the oilier parts (nose forehead eyelids/brow area)of my face than on the drier parts (chin and cheeks)
does anyone get their eyebrows threaded? i was thinking of getting this done , do you have to have a unibrow to get that done or can they do it for just a coupla stray eyebrow hairs?

I could see defective ones being used. I think it's a good way of recycling personally. I mean latex, is latex right? But.......how in the world are they getting used ones??? Digging through newlywed's garbage or something? Nasty......

i think so.
Eyebrow threading can be used to eliminate a unibrow, raise the arch of the eyebrow, or add shape and definition to the brow. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique as well. Repeat visits after three to four weeks are standard. The technique is also not terribly expensive because it is easy to do quickly and does not require costly chemical ingredients. For women who would like to pursue a more natural beauty regimen, eyebrow threading is a good choice, since it does not use harmful products.

Holy smokes ladies....it's not all about the makeup, it's the total package. Some of the most beautiful women out there don't wear any makeup at all. If your hair, nails, and clothes look like crap, then maybe 3" of paint will offset. But if you are CLEAN, funny, have a smile (or a cute smirk), and most importantly......straight, white teeth
, I could care less about the paint. I would rather see a woman with a decent grill (teeth) than I would high-end shoes.
Just my .02

No need for a flame. It's true, a low cut blouse never hurt anybody unless you have nothing to show
then it's just nasty.

Seriously, I have met Spidey. She is a natural which needs no bling-bling to enhance. Although our meeting was brief, and did not include my eyes inspecting any cleavage area, her personality and smile overrode any other factors. She must be talking about women in general....
