I'm not sure how large the aquarium is, that you have.
Temporarily, my HDME is in a 90gal with 200lb+ of rock. She'll move back into my 200gal. within the next few months.

I've kept her with everything from Triggers to Puffers to Lions. The tank she was raised in also held a 15" Volitan Lion and a 12" Porc. and she had been with them since they were both 3" - 4" long. Maybe that has something to do with mine not being aggressive. Everyone says they're highly aggressive, will eat anything they can, blah blah...I've never seen it, from mine. I even hand feed her.

SHE
....eats whole squid and octo, fillets of Grouper, Trigger, Snapper and Salmon (every once in a while) and Tuna steaks.

I bought mine from a private seller, along with a few other fish and I'll just say that I didnt pay anywhere near the retail price.

any reccomendations on where to get one? my lfs says they can get one but would have to sell it for like $2K...

That's the price you're gonna find, no matter where you go.
By having friends in the fish business, I've gotten contacts of different wholesalers. Every once in a great while, I've seen some for $600 - $800 but they never looked healthy.
Even juveniles (less than 20") go for at least $1000 - $1200.
I was offered almost $5000 for mine, because she is DNA tested, guarenteed female and I refused. The only way to tell male/female is by DNA/blood testing.

No, because we're not allowed to post links here, to other retails fish stores. SWF even has one right now, for $799...even tho their information is incredibly incorrect. They do quite well with other tank mates and especially with other Moray species.
Search around...you'll find them...but as I said (and as your LFS said), you're end up dropping quite a bit of money for one.

Minimum, for one DME...90gal. with massive amounts of rock. I have over 200lb. in my 90gal. Females will max out at 32" (which mine is) and Males will reach lengths of 36". If you're wanting a DME with other tank mates, I'd say minimum of 125gal, depending on what other fish you want to keep.
Very long life span...some scientists believe 20 - 25 years, so be in it for the long haul. Thru testing, mine is believed to be 11 years old.
The only reason my fish are in my 90gal. is because I just moved and am currently staying with my parents. I do not believe their floors can hold either my 200gal. nor my 210gal. tanks...so, they're sitting dry in the garage.

Depending on what other fish you wanted to keep, yes, IMO.

I was, yes...a 300gal. I had a friend in Hawaii that had his fish collectors permit. He was supposed to collect them for me but never came thru.

Keep in mind this all just my opinion(s).
For the stock list you provided, I'd go with something along the lines of 180gal. or larger...larger always being better.

what if i did an eel only and in place of the radiata did a blue ribbon if it was eating well etc, im guessing i would need really good filtration?

The sole reason I got into this hobby was to aquire a Hawaiian Dragon(s) but realistically, I never thought I would, due to how expensive they are.
The one I have now is the first of many, that I'll have and I'd take no amount of money for her.

But I'd still have to get rid of the very first one I got.
It's like having a certain 60's muscle car as your dream car. You never think you'd ever have one, but a deal so good you cant pass up falls into your lap. Then, you put alot of effort and time and money into that car. Then, someone comes along and wants to buy it. You think of all that time, effort, etc. and selling it just doesnt seem worth it.
Plus, the offer was a long time ago. I'm sure the interested party has long forgotten and purchased/aquired another one from somewhere else.
