How warm do you all keep your reef tanks.. mine fluctuates between 79-81(lights on and off)

80-82. I use two titanium heaters, one in sump, one in fuge.

My tank is fairly stable between 80-81. I also use two heaters, one is in fuge and one in display tank.

Mine stays between 79-81, but let me be the first to say loud and proud that in the wild, reef water fluctuates as much as 9 degrees in a single day.
There's no way ours should do that much, as other factors obviously mitigate that kind of swing; I'm just saying, temperature is a variable, and that's a good thing.

My heater is set at 82. Heater heats all night, lights heat it all day...sometimes to much.

Man I would rost in a house that hot. I keep my house at around 71 in the summer and 69 in the winter. My tank stays right at 78. with heater in tank.

At night mine is usually 79-80 and during the day (right now) its 82.4. So 79-82

When you come in from 90+ temp with 100+ humidity, 78 is GREAT!!

my tank is at 82-83 and i use a chiller... all corals seem fine i have a variety including softies, LPS, SPS and clams

mine ranges 82-84; when summer became the fall it got as high as 85. i got worried and turned the titanium heater down over the corse of a day or two. and now two of my fish have ick

I think all tanks should have a heater....whatever your tank tops out at with lights on,then you should keep the heater set within 1 degree of that.
I keep my house at 70-72...tanks stay about 80-81.
