Has anyone had problems with camel back shrimp eating any of their corals.I dropped 3 shrimp in my tank and the next morning ALL my yellow polyps were gone. Also my green mat corals have been closed up since the shrimp were introduced.I have leathers, mushroom, gorgonia, and some hard corals that do not seem to be affected. Thanks for any help!I think I will try to make a trap out of a plastic soda bottle and see if I can catch them, just in case.

camels are not reef safe, i traded my 2 camels in for $5, got myself 5gallon water and it was worth it.

I had the same problem. They ate my ricorda polyps. That was the only thing in my tank, and since I don't plan on getting anything else for that tank I left them in. Also their a pin to catch.

I also had the same problem so I placed them in the refuguim. The only thing they are good for is eating apitasia. I can put a coral in my refugiom for a day and the camel shrimp will eat the apitasia, then I take the coral out and put it back in the display tank.
