Camera Help

I'm thinking of getting a camera this weekend. Any tips other than sending Southern Wolf a PM every 5 seconds?

What type of camera are you after? Point and shoot, DSLR? How much are you wanting to spend?
I am a Canon guy, so check out the Rebel series if you are wanting a DSLR, plenty of options and functions to let you do just about anything with them.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up getting a Canon point and shoot. I want a DSLR and might look into one next year. Other things have my money tied up at the moment.
