i have a 150fo tank and I wanted to know if a 2"koran and a 4"emperor angelfish can be in the same tank. There is a lot of coral and places to hide and swim around.

They are both juveniles. I also have a flame angel, naso tang, hippo tang, yellow tang, lunare wrasse, and a 2"clown trigger. All of the fish get along good right now and the koran seems pretty mellow.

They can be, but your best chance is definately when their young. A 150 should be large enough.

My Koran is probably a little smaller than you, and she is the sweetest thing. How long have you had your Koran? I am having quite a few problems with mine, so I was just wondering if you had any problems with yours. Just remember that the Koran is going to grow to about a foot long, and the 180 gl. would pretty much just hold one of those angel fish, but you can always trade one in later.

MEGAN, I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS YET WITH MY KORAN AND I HAVE HAD HIM FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS.

That is about how long I have had mine, I got it as a fry, and it has grown a lot! What do you feed yours? I believe that mine has the early signs of HLLE, and I have been trying to treat the water with ZOE and feeding extra Angel food, and Brine Shimrp Plus, but she seems to only be getting worse. (She doesn't really like the angel formula but I still put it in, the other fish usually eat the Brine.) Oh and of course I get the algea sheets everyday, but lately she won't eat the sheets, but she will eat the frozen. I have asked many people what to do, and they don't understand why she would be acting this way. Since you aren't having any problems, could you please tell me anything that you are doing different to keep your's doing so well. Thanks.

Be forwarned when they become adults, they could get along for years, and then one could kill the other. They are both from the pomacanthus genus. And The emperor will get BIG in that sized tank, like full sized so it could be 15 inches and so could the Koran. I think you might be lucky, but they look extremely alike and the emperor being 4 inches and the koran 2, you could have a problem w/ the emperor. Go for it and tell us how it goes. 2 extremely beautiful fish in adult forms!! TJ

megan, The one thing i do is when any of my fish start getting marks on them or anything that looks weird to me i put garlic in the food and let it soak overnight. It works so good. The other product is marinemax by tropical science. 11.99 a bottle at petwhse.com Nitromax is also very good at same location.

How long will it take for both of these fish to change to their adult form/colors? The emperor is 4" and the koran is 2". Has anyone had either in both stages and how old are they/do you still have them?
