Can a seahorse survive in a fish tank?

I 've got a 14g biocube, and was thinking about a seahorse.
Idk if that's bad or not, so don't jump my case if so! :(
I heard it would not work in most tanks with other fish because a seahorse is so much slower at everything, all the food would be gone before a seahorse could get to it?
Please let me know what you guys think, as I would love a seahorse. :)

Well you don't mention what fish you have...and I think 14g might be too small for horses...you could probably put dwarfs in there..I know nothing about them, but I don't think you mix dwarfs with most fish.

It depends on what the other fish are and how dedicated you are. Seahorses are keepable, but they aren't easy.

14g is to small not just for seahorse but most fish. Its time to upgrade

Captive bred seahorse can be kept with pretty much any peaceful fish that will not bother it. you also have to spot feed them to make sure they get food.
water movement has to be low in the areas the horses hang out in and a chiller is needed to keep temps low.

u can keep dwarfs
they are very small seahorses and reproduce profolicly! if u start out with only a few pretty soon ull have a huge heard! u just have to watchout that they dont get sucked into the filter so if u put a filter cover over it ,it would be fine. i keep mine in a ten callon tank. you have to feed them newly hatched brine every day so i dont know if youd want to do itif you dont mine doing it then dwarfs might be for you! and what other fish did say u had? that can be the only problem, you see since dwarfs are so small and eat kind of slow, most fish would either eat them
or compete with them for food. what other fish do you have in there?

My tank is cycling right now. I was just planning on getting a couple clowns and a few corals. Maybe add a shrimp, or another fish.
I don't really think hand feeding a seahorse is my thing though....
