I have a small/medium striped?? eel in a 55 gal. I want to have a lion fish. My dad has a 180 if the lion or eel eer gets to big. But I also have a ocean small wrasse and a clown fish. I really like lions my lil bro had one but it died. And another question is that is a 48" 50/50 bulb enough for an anenome?

You will be pushing it because lions do get big plus your ocean wrass and other small fish will become a nice meal for the lion.

if youre set on a llionfish for this small tank, ensure you purchase a DWARF LION SPECIES. Any of the large bodied lions like volitans, russells, etc will get too big quickyl for his tank. I think you might even be pushing it w/ a mid bodied lion like an antennat or radiat. However any of the dendrochirus sp of lion will be more than happy in this tank.
No an anenome will not protect it. itwill make your tank harder to keep since it will require more extensive lighting and much cleaner water than you'll possibly have w/ this type of fish.
Also a dwarf lion will not make a meal of the other tankmates.
