Can a true Perc pair up with a false perc?

I've got a true perc and just bought another clown, thinking it was the same. Turns out the second one is a false perc. Can these fish still pair up? They seem to be tolerating each other atm...

I originally had a pair of true percs, lost one(he somehow got spooked and jumped out of the tank, then turned into a little fish mummy under the tank), and the bought a pair a false percs. The True perc is about 1 3/4" and the false percs are 1 1/4". So far, the true perc is hanging out with one of the false percs, and the 3rd fish hangs out by themselves on the other end of the tank. I'll let you know how it turns out.

ty, reefman, I'll try to catch the loner clown, as well as my goby(he gets sand everywhere...). I'll see if I might be able to get some thing else instead, like a nice xenia or a clam.

Currently, I don't have very many corals, only a galaxia that looks like it may die from my going on vacation (too much water evaporated from my tank). I also have various types of discs/mushrooms, and polyps. I have a compact light with actinic, 96watts per bulb... Is that not enough?
