can a yellow tang's dorsal fin grow back

I have a small yellow tang that I noticed has a frayed spot on his dorsal fin. I have not seen it before. I suspect that my maroon clown might have played to rough.
Will this grow back. There is no wound, just a fraying of the tips of that fin.

Yes no need to worry with good H2O quality, the membrane will grow back. Keep in mind that the maroon anemone fish can be highly territorial of it's own space especialy if there's an anemone involved, I would keep an eye on the goings on in your tank

I am going to move the tang into a bigger tank as soon as I can get it all set up.
