early in the start of my tank i received an acro frag (agrocrag?? i wish hahaha) but i placed it in the middle of my tank under high flow but medium lighting. it died shortly therafter. i was wondering if having a sps like this was possible under pc's. is it just not recommended? or impossible? anyone have any success or failures?

its possible but T5 or MH is recommended and they need lots of light. the higher the better cause they more PAR they can receive. what is your lighting system? details?
i would recommend nothing higher than softies and maybe a few LPS if they are put very high in the tank. but i cant give my say for sure until i know what type of lighting you have exactly.

Yes, details on the light setup and the tank will help in telling specifically what won't work.
To directly answer the question, some SPS can be kept under PC lights, however they will "brown out" and turn the same color as the zooxanthellae algae takes over the coral. Not pretty in the least.

What kind can I keep under,
Current USA Satellite Dual 2x40 Watt 20"Power Compact Strip Light W/Lunar Light
The Current USA Dual Satellite Power Compact fixture is a dual strip light which contains 1 Dual Daylight Lamp (6700K & 10,000K), 1 Dual Actinic (420nm/460nm) and 1 Lunar Light. The Lunar Light is a small LED which sits in the fixture above the bulbs. The compact fluorescent bulbs included with this fixture have 3 times the output of standard bulbs with double the life (12 months). This fixture also features a cooling fan and 2 switches, and mounting legs

I keep some sps under pc's and they do just fine...but my tank is shallower than an aquapod and i put out more watts than suggested... in my opinion the stock lighting on the aquapods are not strong enough to keep sps... i think they make a MH hood for the pods though if you wanna go that route

I've got some monti plate, monti cap, monti digi, all assorted colors in a 20 gal long with 30" current 130 watt pc fixture....keep an lps tank also 20 gal long under current 65 watt pc fixture...softies tank with mixed zoos, shrooms, lps and even some monti cap in 29 gal with 30" current 130 watt pc...these tanks are all thriving under pc lighting.
