just saw this on my tank front glass, I think it is a baby snail, or somthing
when I scooped it was rough and hard on the top like those flat looking snails i have in my tank.

Looks like it could be a stomatella snail..
Actually I take that back from the top it looks like a type of nudi branch.

Not sure, I wouldnt say hard like a shell but the tops can be tougher then their undersides. And some slugs or nudis can have a partial or reduced shell on their backs. The part that makes me think nudi or slug is the proportioned polyp type potrusions on the top of it.

It feels hard like a star fish rough feeling and has hundereds of tiny tintical feet under him

Underside of a stomatella.

Topside

Stomatella look like a cross between a snail and slug. Their shell is fairly flat and inconspicuous compared to most snails. They are brownish green in color and seem to stay under about 3/4" in length. Stomatella can move very quickly for a snail.

that is what it looks like on the belly side a starfish. has a line right up the middle as you see in first pic, within that these tinticals legs come out and move him, are these bad?

No but I dont believe it is. Stomach footed snails, look like that on their underside too. How big is it?
This creature seems to have a defintive front and back and appears to move rather quickly. Asteria stars to my knowledge do not travel fast...

maybe a variant of a stomatella...thats what the second pics looks like...whats the mouth look like?

the bottom those does look like an asterina which is possible since they are usually mutants with not having 5 legs...but the top doesnt look like one, or not like the ones i have
