i was just wondering if there are any fish that glow in the dark and if so which ones and can i buy them anywhere?

i can answer the first part, yes, there are fish that glow in the dark. i remember seeing some on a special on TV. however i dont know what kinda fish they are, if they can be in a tank or where you could find one. sorry i couldnt help more.

I don't know much about fishes so i wouldn't know if there is one. But there's a fish that i love so much. And I hope she'd honor me by accepting me into her life when the time comes.

most fish that live very, very, deep in the ocean "glow". as for aquarium fish, im not sure. bo

These "deep water fish" can NOT survive in home aquariums due to the extreme pressure that they are accustomed to living in.Lot's of marime fish do have an irradesent glow to them when kept under flo lighting...

If you have atinic lights in your system, it brings out the most beautiful colors in the fish. Our Niger Trigger has a blue strip on him and when the atinic lights are on boy, he is a beauty. Later Lisa

I have never seen bioluminescent fish available in stores either and I have only seen them at public aqauriums and on the discovery channel. Your search for one of these fish would be futal.

here is a fish that glows in the dark:

there are biolumniscent bacteria that lives inside the mouths of pineapple fish that glows in the dark. they also make grunting sounds from time to time.
i have two in my tank and they are extremely fun to watch at night: seems like there are fireflies swimming in the tank
