Do they move? It's hard top tell but my guess would be sponges......

Just a guess though.

yeah looks like a pineapple sponge Scypha sponge.

I haven't seen them move yet, but I can't see in the filter unless I am cleaning it. I will check out the pineapple sponges. Thanks

oh, definitely pineapple/qtip sponges. problem is they are probably gonna be dead now that they've touched air

they are indeed q-tip sponges...they are harmless filter feeders...and are a sign of a maturing tank and healthy tank...
