It's a Peanut Worm. There's nothing to worry about. This worm is a harmless scavenger, eating waste waste, detritus, etc. They're very benificial to the aquarium.

difficult to tell form pic, but pretty sure it is not a pnut worm, they are fat bodied, and generally have bristles around the mouth(almost like a moustache) and one band.
any legs, maybe like a centipede? does not look alot like a bristle worm, either, but like i said the pic is hard to see good
a little more description my help

Hey dude,
The one's that I have in my aquarium look exactly like the one shown in the picture.
Here's a picture I found of a peanut worm:

We could confirm the ID if you could answer one last question: does it retract into itself? If so, it's a Peanut worm.
Take Care,
Graham

a little more research, and i admit, that i have found some that are more slender at the tip, like the ones you have shown, and seem very much like them. I just have never seen one with such a long slender body as shown in his first pic is all

Hey fshhub,
Great pictures! I've never seen the completely body structure of the peanut worm. The base has always been concelled in a small hole in the rock, therefore, I would only notice the "head" or upper portion of the worm showing.
From the picture, it looks like the worm is stretched out completely. I've seen some of my worms reach up to 4" in length, and as skinny as a large needle :)
Again, great pictures you got! Do you by any chance have them in a larger size? :)
Take Care,
Graham

That's my favorite part of this hobby. I think I watch more 'tank' than TV. :)
