Hi there!
Beginner here, and recently I've found some of this white, shell-like - an almost snake skin - looking material on some seaweed I found. I found it growing by some rocks, and I've attached a photo of a preserved specimen with some of this material on it, and I'm just wondering does anybody have any idea what it is? - I'm thinking some sort of barnacle or other small mollusk/crustacean - or varying reproductive stage or even some sort of infection - I have no idea and I can't seem to find any info online!
Appreciate any help on this! Thank you!
