Can Anyone Tell Me What This Is?

Its a hard red tube on 2 of my zoa frags. When I feed they shoot out these spider web like nets to catch food. What are they?

are these bad? How do you get rid of them? Just snap them off?

no need to get rid of them ... they're harmless filter feeders.

ok cool. If they are snails are they mobile? I dont think I have seem one move. Do they multiply? I dont want them taking over my zoas.

yes, they spread .... but your corals should be safe.
at least that's been my experience with them.
