I know this is a dumb question, but my sister stuck her hand in and the anemone stuck on her a little. We were just wondering if it can harm you?

I have hurt, then itched then the scabs started to
come off, more itching.
More salve for the itching applied and it continues
to itch.

I use to have a condy which I brushed with my bare hand a few times doing tank cleaning. I never felt any sting that I'm aware of. Yeh, you're supposed to wear gloves.

I use to have a condy which I brushed with my bare hand a few times doing tank cleaning. I never felt any sting that I'm aware of. Yeh, you're supposed to wear gloves.

It was just on the tip of her thumb. And no sting or anything. Everything appears to be normal. The guys at my LFS said its fine and that condys arent very poisons, even to other fish. So hopefully they are correct. I know when I bought the anemone they just grabbed it with their bare hand.
