I just got my calcium and kh tests today and I havent been dosing anything. My calcium was about 390 and my dkh was 12-13. I think I read somewhere that dkh was supposed to be about 6? Anyway I was just wondering if 12 was too high and if it is how should I bring it down?

Thats not to high at all. I keep my SPS tank at 12. Your cal could be a little higher. So if you dosed a little cal that would raise the cal and lower the dkh a little and you would be in good shape.
I had someone watch my tank when I went out of town for 2 weeks and didn't understand the importance of measuring buffers/2part dosing. Needless to say one of my tanks was at 22 dKH and alot of coralline bleached... my EXPENSIVE purple linkia that was doing fine for 3 months suddenly started rotting in a hurry.
My 2 part came in the same package as the tests I just havent started using them yet. What are good levels for both? Im planning on keeping SPS and LPS.

calcium 400-450
DKH 8-12
Say cal is a little low and dkh is high, Dose calcium and it will raise the calcium and it will lower the dkh a littl bit. Cause they each lower each other a little bit if you dont add them at the same time. What kind of twopart did you get?
