Can eels get ick???

I think I am having an outbreak of ick in my tank. I am going to put all my fish in a QT to treat them. However, I have heard that eels are not as easily infected with ick as fish. Is this true? I don't want to try and place my snowflake in the QT unless I have to. Please let me know.

They can get ick, but you are right - they are much tougher then most fish. You can even cycle your tank with certain eels, though I would recommend it.
