can emerald crab eats coral?

i slowly lost all of my small my corals incl.button polyps,plate coral, some of myfrog spawn , all of my brains and lots of mushrooms( 5 different kind) on my main tank 10 months ago except my star polyps. i thought is was my water but every large corals are thriving(colts ,lots of leather, toadstool. i had lots of emerald and hermit crab. i only feed my fish small meal a day. i notice my small corals slowly disappearing . does anyone know whats happening ? i heard that crab can eat corals?

emeralds love bubble algae and other algae before coral. test the water - nitrates, phosphates, S.G...ect

emerald crabs are herbivorous, I highly doubt he is the culprit. look to water qulity lighting etcetera. or other critters.
