Ok wierd question but My blue jaw trig spend 90% of the time the lights are on (so about 8 hours) swimming in the current of my modded maxijet 900. i mean non stop unless i drop some food in there for him. I know it natural for them to want to swim and get that open water feeling.
So is that a good thing or is there just too much flow going across the front of my tank, where he hangs out all the time?
I figure this is a good thing, i hope so because i just ordered a koralia 3 for more flow, with my new sundial HO t5 light

When it comes to behavior like this; I doubt there is any such thing as "good" or "bad". Anyone who can psychoanalyze fish scares me.

I had a puffer that would sit in a sieo 1500 all day long then surf the flow across the tank. He got put in a 300 gallon with a 2600 and he does the same thing. ALL DAY LONG.

Well he'd wave at me and smile while he did it! Besides I had to wait till he came over and told me to feed him. And if I didn't he'd be mad at me and splash water EVERYWEAR
