Can hermit crabs survive?

I have a tank with a 24" snowflake, a 4" grouper, a 4"huma huma trigger, and a 1.5" tomatoe clown. Will any of these fish harm hermit crabs in their shells or snails? What about a spider crab?

The Humu humu will most likely snack on those hermits.

the trigger will eat them and the eel might too...mine does but only once in awhile...i would also worry about the tomato clown...

yah when tamato clowns grow up they can get pretty aggressive the one at my lfs when someone puts there hand in it tries to bite them and also the trigger and the eel will probly eat the hermits sooner or later

When I had my 125 gal a while back I had a Huma and an eel in with Hermits... The Huma I had no problem with... but the eel... lets just say I heard clanking against the glass and I go into the room and I see the eel doing a death roll with the hermit... I stuck around for a bit and he picked off another... and that was just a tiny snowflake....

I love when Eels do the deathroll... really cool IMO. :)
