can holy rock become live rock?

Well i have over 300 pound of holy rock from my cichlid tank i was thinking about putting it in my 265 tank would that work? i am planning to keep softy and lps will it have any effect on growth for the coral to spread onto. Oh i also have 100 pound of live rock.

holy rock or do you mean lace rock
its not as porous as a live rock so don't do it it will just take up spaces

holy rocks
But if is lace then i can do it? My friend has a lot of lace rock that i can trade him formy holy rock.

I was thinking if you did have holy rock... does that instantly make holy water when you add water to it or do you still need it blessed ;)
Sorry I'm no help on the rock as I have no clue -- but the forums are slow and I'm bored at work lol
