Can I add this in my tank

I was wondering if I can add a medium sized marine betta in with a small volitan lion?

no a marine betta couldnt eat him he could try to swallow him and get poisoned by the lionfish so i dont think anything will happen

What might get eaten the lion or the beta....the beta is actually a few centimeters bigger for as the fish body size but with the lions fins he is bigger.

my lfs had both a volitan and marine beta in a 70 gallon for years and they were fine together. They also had a rabbitfish in there. I think you would be fine, but I don't know much about betas.

I've got a marine beta that's almost 7". It can eat alot, but it would never try to eat even a small V lion. They prefer slim fish and shrimp. Actually, when i try to give him a piece of shrimp he considers too large, he will ignore it until I get the size right.
